Vidriera Monterrey now known as Vitro S.A. de C.V., was founded in 1909. The factory opened its doors with one furnace and two of the first glass forming machines in the world.

During the 1980’s Vitro S.A de C.V. noticed an increased demand in the United States. In response, Vitro S.A. de C.V founded a subsidiary company, Vitro Packaging, Inc. Since then, Vitro has provided a full range of value-added glass packaging products to the North American Wine, Spirits, Beverage, Beer, Pharmaceutical and Chemical, Food and Cosmetics industries. Our primary goal was then and continues to be to provide our clients with the highest level of service and quality while meeting their complete packaging needs.

Today, we continue to do this through Vitro Packaging LLC, a value added systematic approach to provide our clients with complete glass packaging solutions; including market analysis assistance, comprehensive design services, decoration development, and reliable, consistent processes. Our glass bottles and services are manufactured and generated in a process controlled setting, adhere to the highest quality standards, and deliver within time lines demanded in today’s marketplace.
