Furnace

In the Furnace the raw materials melt together at a temperature of 2850 degrees Fahrenheit to form molten glass. Molten glass is white hot.

A furnace is made of a high temperature ceramic brick that is heated by electricity, gas, or oil. They can hold over 450 tons of glass and is 15 meters tall.
