Refiner and Forehearth

Refiner:
The process known as fining takes place in the refiner. The liquid glass flows into the refiner where trapped glass bubbles are allowed to escape.

Forehearth:
The glass then flows into a long chamber called the Forehearth where the glass is evenly cooled. This cooling allows the glass to become thinker, like honey, to mold.
